Has any one tried this. I had to create a tool to convert the output, as the program is designed to lock people into theri hosting service. But with a simple utility I can edit the results after.

Its a typical W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G editor and it's code is based on each object having absolute coordinates. But the results are good and quick.

I have found it to fit in to be able to produce the building blocks that I really use to build websites with my utility Webmaxster.

I would be interested in comments on the code it produces.

I have read mixed reports about this software and that the code it creates is garbage. Provided a page is quick to load, pleasing and interesting to a viewer does not use a lot of resources and does not have broken links, how many actually look at the code that produces it.

In other words what is the thoughts on using absolute coordinates?.

I do not build pages one by one, I instantly build 1 to say 10 then edit them. If I am not happy with the appearance I adjust the building blocks either adding changing or removing then create again. I repeat untill the site looks appealing and worth inserting the actual content

The reason I ask is. I use building blocks and since I have seen how this program creates its elements which are all objects with an absolute address on the page. This fits in with my concept. These are typical to building blocks I use:
Header(choice) global or by page
Java(type) .....................|
Meta " " |
Body(Type) " " |-- These are selectable building blocks
Object(Type) " " |-- can be
Content..........This is where the meat of the page is inserted
PageClose(Type)global or by page

Did you ever have one of those books as a kid that allowed you to change the head with the body and legs well that is a loose analogy.

I have an archive of page elements that are assembled to give me any number of pages. obviously each page has to have substance but all structure is taken care of by page or globally.

So using each element with a absolute address can be a big improvement.

So. I write down a list of names in a text file, throw a collection of building blocks in the same folder and a content place holder and auto assemble the pages . At this point I have a working site but then obviously its necessary to fill in the substance. I cannot think of a way to automate that.

The resultent code depends on who creates the building blocks

so you can see why I like the code expressed in this way

This script produces my Inkmon site, notice the building blocks some can be re-used but content must be written to suit. I guess that is simular to using a tempate. This is just the way I do it.

So before I start creating Absolute Coordinate building blocks I am asking for comments on this style of web building and if there are any traps.

I am really frustrated bcos I invested tonns of my time usin bluevoda to design only to realiz I had to register with them to upload my site, i just made this discovery 'bout 20mins ago while I was trying to upload unto a host/server I already have and i have a deadline to present this website in a day or two. I cant imagine starting all over again with another web designe tool.
You said you had to creat a tool? does it convert bluevoda's .bvp files to html? pls help me out here. you can also buzz me at dajust05@gmail.com. athnks man.
