For some reason a post I started yesterday must have been removed. Ok the gist of it was that I joined the forum to get ideas on web site design and I also wanted people to know of my page creating tool Webmaxster
at http://webmaxster.inkmon.org I created it for the pay for clicks trade. It is what I use to create dozens of pages. It is used in conjunction with a program like Homesite at least I do as my html is not at expert level. I believe a good webmaster only uses notepad.

I have read some of the posts and I am looking forward in learning as compitition is getting stronger.

viewing source page and making a few edits is not a webmaster or designer!

This is called plagerism and most materials are copywriten and thus you will end up getting yourself into lawsuits!

My stuff gets copied all the time, Copying is the best form of flattery. If you create websites convince me that you have never been influenced by others.

If I did not want to share html code a simple java script stops that. I usually contact companies who I feel may have a problem. I even swap links with them. Actually this gives me the best traffic and visa versa. There are billions of web sites, most fall into just 3 categories which are:- I will have those examples "Free" on my site shortly.
I am not a black and white person I have many facets and do believe in playing the game true but extremely competitively.

influenced is one thing, copying and pasting source code is completely different!

and java script can't stop that....firefox has a noscript add-on for example that doesn't allow javascript or other scripts to run.

yes i have a few sites and i am staff on quite a few more....

excuse me but I think you need to relook, i've not edited any of your posts, i've deleted a few...esp the one in which you adviced someone to view source code copy and paste and make a few tweeks to create "their own site"

and if i were to edit your post what would that have to do with copywrite infringement? Everything posted within these forums are subject to change/deletion by the staff....

Ok Point taken I stand corrected. Actually I am a moderator on a couple of forums and I guess I tend to take the moral high ground on those. I will be a good little boy from now on.

Hmm! I just checked my site, about 8 copies/day are being taken of my mail logo. plagerism or flattery. I think it is an indication that they like my design.

I could change it to be site specific that would reduce its appeal but I guess it does the ego good to think there will be other sites that use that logo.

Ain't life great.
