Just a thought but was looking around the site and comparing it to a couple of others, i know the site is new-ish so thought i would see what you could do to prompt new members and keep existing members posting etc.
Maybe you could have a Links - and Resources Section in the footer for Members that post well, so your best posting members, Say around 10 of them will have there user name with a link to one of there sites (webmaster or Directory Related )

This might actually work to get users to post but I don't thinks it's such a great idea. People will do more and more useless post just to increase post count and have their link on the main page.
We might offer some other "incentives" for people being active in this forum and doing a healthy contribution.

oh no i didnt really mean by form of post count just and not even advertise the fact that you are doing it, maybe just people choosen by the admin for putting alot into forum posts etc.

well maybe could do a site of the month, where only active members or those with more then, oh i don't know 15 posts can join.....and the site that gets picked gets a link in the footer/header for that month....well ok for the following month January's site of the month pick would be listed during February....
