It starts from almost $200 and goes up to $1000

$200-$300 is fair price as far as I see it.

But i have seen , the sponsored templates. they charge $40 and above to sponsor a template.

normally, I have seen 2 sposors in a template

which means, 40X2=80 or 60X2 = 120 ????, how does this calculation works.

Those are not made based on your requirement, they are not custom works for you. Designer made them what he like, not what you like

Hope it helps

That is what happening regular basis with my templates!

I contact those user to remove my templates from their site, or ask them to linkback to designer site as I mentioned in templates agreement.

Some don't like to hear our request, we called them QBC!

You can open their site in publicly to inform others that they are doing unethical job

removing a required link can get your site shut down....Dawzz (staff at phpLD) has had many of sites closed due to failure of linking back to phpLD on scripts and has helped template creators get sites shut down for removing the link back to their sites...

if you don't want a link in the footer you can contact the creator and see if they would accept a small payment or allow you to move the link, I usually place my footer links into my left or right side menu under the sponsored listings and this still keeps the link back as a sitewide link and flows better with my layout...95% of the time the creators don't mind, but it's still a good idea to ask first before moving it

120 dollars does not cover concept time, let alone properly designing something to task. Professional designers charge 75-125(200 if there is professional illustration involved) dollars an hour, this includes concept time(thinking about it) Great graphics and branding don't just come flying out of people. There has to be a plan of attack. This takes time.

While something may appear to be simple in design, it isn't.

hope that helps
Nigel
